Powermatic/Jet are offering a kind of rebate through the end of the year. The deal is that you get money back to put towards another one of their tools. Some are $25 or $50 but anything costing more than $1500 has a $100 rebate (actually a gift card to be used to purchase another tool).
However, WoodCraft has sweetened the pot by offering up to a 10% store gift card with purchases of Jet and Powermatic tools. It is for the week of Thanksgiving but they will let you in on it earlier if you want to buy before then.
I just bought a PM2000 table saw so I'll be getting $100 from Powermatic/Jet and $230 in store credit from WoodCraft. When that arrives I'm going to buy a Jet lathe. It'll be like getting a free lathe with my new saw :eusa_clap
Just thought I'd share that for anyone considering new tools. It seems like you can't do much better than that for a retail purchase.
