Sold Powermatic Hollow Chisel Mortiser Model 719A w/set of 6 Chisels

To make room in my shop I am offering for sale my lightly used Powermatic Model 719A Hollow Chisel Mortiser, along with its enclosed base, 6 new or nearly new chisel and bit sets (1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8” and 3/4”), owner’s instruction manual, chuck removing wrench, chuck extension adapter, chuck key, and 3 chisel bushings. This unit has a 1 hp motor, an adjustable depth stop, hand wheels for front-to-back and left-to-right adjustment, but does not have the “tilting bed” feature found on Powermatic’s newer 719T model. Very lightly used, it is in good operating condition, it’s only defect being a minor “scar” on the table top from when I (stupidly) failed to place a backing board under a through mortise I was cutting. I purchased this mortiser new in 2002, along with its chisel and bit sets, for $860.00. Powermatic’s newer 719T “tilting bed” model goes for about $1,900.00, and its 3/4 hp bench-top model goes for about $1,100.00. Asking $600.00 cash, but you will need to come by and pick it up at my home in Pittsboro, NC, with some muscle and an appropriate vehicle. Cast iron is heavy!
