Plant Cart/Stand for Large Pots

Anyone out there made a plant cart that can be rolled around and accommodate larger pots? I need an idea how to make something that can handle bigger containers but still be manageable. Here’s a picture of what I’m dealing with. These pots are between 12”-18” wide and tall. I would like to have something that would hold 3 wide x 2 tall, but I’m afraid that might be too big to maneuver. So if you have done something like that, let me know how it works for you.

After several design iterations I came up with a suitable solution (wife approved 😆). I wanted to make it out of cedar, but I couldn’t find any in the Triad area that looked good enough to use. Ended up with cherry and finished with Waterlox Marine since this will be rolled outside once the weather permits. All screwed with stainless hardware, no glue. Not exactly fine furniture, but better than Ikea!

I've done a few plant carts using Corian as a top with a drip groove on the underside of the edge.
I think what you did is far more elegant.

Functional, flexible, and elegant in its simplicity. Plus it sounds like it is built to last. Well done. Yea, a how-to would be a nice resource.

What you did looks good. I wound up making extended windowsills out of Corian and screwing them down into the existing sills. Your pots might be a bit large for that. Hopefully it's a straight shot outside with no steps or door sills to have to navigate.

As I have learned in retirement, "wife approved" is the most important component of the design process.
