I am in need of a planner. I do not usually do flat wood work. I mostly turn my projects round. I have some walnut I want to use to make a desktop for our new house. I was originally thinking I could laminate the pieces together and use my sander to smooth the surfaces out. After spending some time setting up my router and getting some things together today I got my wood together and realized they are all different thickness. Some are already surfaced to 1'' which is what I want but others are nearly 2'' rough cut.
I am using 8 walnut boards of different lengths to make an L shaped desk top. I am in need of someone willing and able to plane these boards for me. (with payment of course) Or if you know somewhere I can carry them to do this I am all ears.
