Pine Logs

I just removed three pine trees on my property with a backhoe and cut off the stumps. They are about 13in in diameter at the base and 13ft+ to where I cut the tops off (about 8in+ diameter).

Any suggestions on what to do with them? Cut them up as outside firewood? I doubt they are worth milling but I thought I would ask on here for any ideas or confirmation.

Pine is not really a good fire wood, Burns too fast and pops too much. Fence posts, columns or beams might be good

Go to ForestryForum.com to find a sawyer near you. I would saw it for you but I'm too far from you. Pine would have to be pressure treated before it could be used as a post. Last hope would be firewood for a fire pit once the statewide fire ban is lifted.

Leave them outside, in the woods, until the sap wood begins to rot, then you can gather the "light" wood to use in starting those outside fires in the firepit. Or you can carve them with chain saws or hand tools, etc. for wood sprites, bear, fox, wolf heads, etc.
