Pie Safe Progress

Got a little time today to work on the pie safe. Was able to get doors made and top glued up and sanded.

Doors will have punched tin, pineapple pattern

I have not fastened top to the safe yet, still need to do more sanding.

Nice looking project, somebody will be happy to have that in their house. Are you going to add the mousehole gnawed in the back like most of the antique ones I've seen?

Guess I'll have to hold off on the mouse hole. I'm making this one for my Daughter for her birthday in July. But that would be a novel idea, maybe just paint one on the back:wsmile:
