Picnic trade tables

I will be bringing some tools to trade and a few things to give away.

Several large Dogwood mallets
Some leather faced wood handle strops for sharpening
Various hand planes
Draw knives

misc...

Just FYI, we may or may not have tables available for you. It all depends on the final RSVP. Unless we get up to 100 in the rsvp, we will have a few tables available

It seems that people are always looking for scrub planes (fore planes). I have half a dozen #5 hand planes that I will be modifying to make great roughing planes for taking off lots of thick shavings. If I can get over the terrible cold I hope to have some ready for the picnic.

I was thinking of offering some bowls for sale if there is any interest. I may have to sell from the tailgate of truck. I don't have a portable table.

I am feeling pretty confident that we will have some tables available. I dont think our RSVP is going to reach 120.

Based on the rsvp and an allowance for hopefully more to attend, we should have 4 to 6 tables available. These are brand new tables. So the only thing I would ask is if it’s tools, saws, etc maybe lay something down to protect the table

I'll bring my table anyway, as sure as I don't 350 people will show up out of the blue.

Yes, it typically costs my (one) "Friend" and any relations a little extra... LOL
