What's the capacity of that machine?
I unloaded it today (gettin to old for this) and took some measurements. It's built like a tank, the backbone is 4x6x almost 3/8" steel.
It's 37" between ioutside of wheels so that minus roller guides, 34ish. Crossed my mind, I could cut the backbone and add length. Gallon paint can for scale.

Howie, re-sawing 34" seems to be sufficient. That saw looks like it's capable to do that. What size motor do you anticipate using?

I have a 20 hp rotophase at home and some 10 and 20 hp electric motors, for possible noise issues. I would like the option of it being a trailer unit. I may make the carriage stout enough for 2 power units fuel and electric. Also contemplating stretching the backbone as I only want to do this once and big slabs will always bring a premium. There are salvage mobile home trailer/frames out there for less then 1K that could be cut down w/alot of metal left over. Also salvage I beams of all sizes avail. on the second hand mkt.. All is on the table at this point and I'm YT rabbit holeing the hell out of it.
