Pecan Slab Coffee Table

I haven't done much woodworking this year but I did manage to get this done.

I picked up the slab at Scott's open house earlier this year.

Beautiful piece of wood - did the legs come from Scott too?
Look like a couple of nice pieces of Walnut?
How did you finish it?

Thanks - The legs are actually cherry with dark walnut stain.
I had one board hanging around (think I got it from Kyle some time ago) so I went with that.
Finish is just 2 coats of gloss poly and one coat of satin.
Cracks were filled with epoxy mixed with some ebony dust.

Nice table Pete. :icon_thum Near the bottom of the second pic it looks like a large crack is filled w/ something blue. Or is that still open and we can see the rug below?

What a profoundly interesting piece of wood! That is very pleasing to the eye. I love what you did with it.
