I got the collet and the wrenches I needed for my new pc 690 yesterday:-D
And got it mounted in my cheap router table today.
Bought a plastic cutting board (larger one this time) from wal-mart almost $7:crybaby2:
got it cut to size for my table, it was thicker then the origonal so I had to cut a 1/32 rabbet around the bottom edges so it would fit flush:lol:
but its all done and good to go, I cant believe how much better and easer to use this pc is then the old $99 skill router:lol::lol:

The right tools make all the difference. That is the best looking "plugger's" router table I've ever seen....and to think I paid $40+ for my router plate, and it does the same thing :eusa_doh:

No, no, no... how could you POSSIBLY use a router set up like that?!?! :-? There's no above-table lift thingy... no leveling screws... no nifty logo... ;-)

Seriously, looks like it's going to do the trick just fine... and you got off a lot cheaper than the rest of us. :eusa_doh:

A $7 cutting board for a router plate?:-? Very good idea. I would have never thought of it.

As for the PC 690, that is a nice step up from the skil.

Congrats and nice work!
