Ken, I hope you will be fully mended soon. Tales of the mishaps of guys like you (much more WW'ing time under their belt than me) are why I always use all guards, along with push sticks, dust mask, dust collector, et al.

Good news.
The tendon isn't completely lacerated and the Doc isn't planning on surgery.

He removed the splint and really exercised the joint!!

Now it hurts worse than ever. I have to do the exercise therapy 5 times daily and go back next week to get the stitches out.

Thanks to all of you for the Prayers, thoughts and well-wishes.

I hate too think how many times I may have done something similar without thinking twice about it. <shudder>

I lost my right hand in a combine accident 25 years ago. I'm glad you are ok!! Will pray for your speedy recovery.
