My latest optical illusion project. It is all end grain built with Sapele, Hard Maple, and Paduak.

Very nice, Steve. Have you ever counted the number of cuts that go into making one of these?

There's a lot involved getting all the lines to match/line up when using different sized pieces. Great job! Would have probably taken me 5-6 days just to get the stock cut.

Beautiful! I am not sure I could "safely" use it as a cutting board, given the tricks it plays with my vision, I may slice something other than what I intended to slice!o_O
