Old growth heart pine

Does anyone know of a supplier for old growth heart pine? I had built my work bench top from some old growth heart pine and really liked the wood but had made the work bench top a split top and want to remake it as a solid top.

If I recall correctly the place in Pittsboro is called Heartwood Pine. I used them as a source for material for a large table and was very pleased with both the product and the level of service.

Note:

I have some left over material I'd be happy to sell you for a significant discount from what I paid. - (Guessing at 1 7/8" thick? 4-5" wide? 8-10' long?)
These are 'character' boards that have some nail holes etc. - which is what my client wanted, but they are surfaced / planed properly. I would guess it would be enough for a bench top, depending on your desired dimensions.

If you want to see the material - I wrote several excruciatingly detailed/long posts about it, but I am not certain the pics made it through the software upgrade that happened here on NCWW afterwards.

We built our house in 1988 and used reclaimed heart pine for the floors, cabinets, and stairs. All of it came from Mountain Lumber which is located in Waynesboro, Va now. We are adding an inside rail to the stairway now as we are getting old and they are supplying the 1'1/2" stock for us. They have most everything from nail grade to flawless.

I have some from an old tobacco barn. If you have a planer and jointer you can clean then up. They are about 3" x 5" if I recall, it has been awhile since I messed with them. About 5' to 6' long. I made my daughter a table with some of them.

I'm in the Four Oaks/ Benson area, so not too far.

End result would be a benchtop 23" deep, 72" long and 3-5/8" tall to match the one I already have.

I'm not sure if I have any 4" + thick pine slabs, but will check. Definitely have some 2x12x16' syp heart pine though (kiln dried)
