R Roy G Roy Senior User Jan 5, 2020 #5 Ken, it could well be a single phase motor. You would need quite a few amps in your breaker to run it, though. I would be concerned about the cutter head and its knives. Is it the modern style with gibs or the older clam shell? Roy G
