I built a pair of outdoor Information Kiosks (fancy name for Bulletin Boards) for the Kellogg Fine Art Center in Hendersonville several years ago. These were stationed at the starting points of trails where outdoor art was being exhibited and had two locking Lexan-clad doors on each side to protect the notices posted by Gallery staff. They stand about 10' high on 6" x 6" PT posts, span 10' in width and the four doors are roughly 3-1/2' square. The doors are 4/4 White Oak with pegged bridle joints on each corner and piano hinges (they have about 1/8" clearance and have not sagged at all since they were made in 2008).

Made this his for my wife years ago. It changes with every season and has been on our front porch for years. Just Home Depot pt lumber but she loves the thing. Each season she fills it with the "junque" from Michaels that stops at my house before it heads to its final destination (at the landfill)!

Outdoor grill cart built using reclaimed barn wood. Sorry the picture orientation is wrong. It's oriented correctly in my file but won't post correctly here.

We put in an above-ground pool a couple of years ago. With the assistance of my BIL and SIL, we built the deck to go around a section of the pool, and butt up to the screened in porch. The section that comes directly off the porch measures abut 11'x11', and the steps up to the rest of the deck that is level with the top of the pool. Full size, it measures 30'x30', and the decking is 2x6 PT treated boards. These pics are prior to putting on a stain/sealer, which was done after the boards had a couple of weeks to dry out some. The last pic was from the roof, after we had closed up the pool for the season.

My son and I built this a few years back based on a plan in Wood Magazine. The fun part was doing bent lamination with 12 foot pressure treated 1x6s. It spans a dry creek bed in the back yard providing access to the fire pit grotto.
