Finally warm enough to get in the shop…

I pulled this piece of oak out of a pond several years ago. I’m not sure how long it was in the water. It was a chore to turn—there was a lot of staining from being in the pond that I tried to turn away, and it was riddled with cracks. It smelled like pond water too.

It ended up being about 7 1/2 inches across. I decided to finish it with Feed-N-Wax.
