Next, tall fence for BS

I added just a 6 inch extension to my C-14. Working OK with rollers but I need to make a brace so they stay in exact position.
So next is a tall fence. I was looking for a simple aluminum extrusion, at least 8 inches tall, but not much and wow the price. Guess I could just use come BB ply, but maybe a great use for some of the pheno sheet I bought from a member. Any other ideas?

The fence on my Jet is 6 inches high in the high position. Works well. Just a flat plate should work if it's thick enough. I look at McMaster Carr for that sort of stuff.
