Well, I built another whiskey cabinet. My wife showed a picture of the previously posted cabinet, a consignment piece, to one of her friends, and she asked me to build one for her hubby, who re-did their basement with a new bar.
She had specifics to hold two bottles and two Glencairn whiskey glasses, designed as a table-top piece. I made it out of plain walnut for the carcass and claro walnut for the door frame and carcass trim. The front is a book-matched curly maple panel with correctly spelled engraving. The back is ship-lapped cherry, and the glass cubby is a pressure fit install. As usual, I finished it with two rubbed coats of Odie's dark oil.
