Kind people....My name is Steve Swail and I am hobbyist woodworker with a 2 car garage for a workshop. As others have stated on other sites, I am well on way down the "slippery slope" of woodworking expenditures:mrgreen: But, I am so excited by the possibilities and to learn. It goes without saying I will learn much more from you folks than you will ever learn from me....I will ask in advance that you be understanding and patient with questions I may have. And I thank you in advance for all the knowledge and advice you will impart to me. My spur to get into woodworking has been the thought of making things to give to the people I love and care about....A bedroom suite for my neice and nephew for example. Something that will outlast me and remind them that I made it for them because I loved them. Perhaps I will sell items down the road, who knows....Depends on how well I make it and what someone thinks it's worth. But financial gain is not my immediate thought at all. Thank you for providing a site where someone like myself can get help from local people with the same interests....May God bless each of you richly in your lives and in the projects you undertake.
