Hello, my name is Andrew. I’m a new member looking to meet others who enjoy woodworking and inspiration on various types of projects.
I’ve lived in NC since birth and grew up in Harnett County. My father was a farmer all his life primarily and did some woodworking as a hobby. That’s where I started my adventure also.
Like my father I’m a big DIY type of person. Get great satisfaction making, or mostly repairing things. I built a Moravian work bench and a few other items for fun in my spare time for family. I have learned mostly hand tools from Paul Sellers for years, but own a Rikon bandsaw, compound miter saw, basic Craftsman table saw. Looking for a scroll saw currently to make toys for first grandchild. I hope to learn more from this group and maybe be a resource along the way if possible.
I’m retiring soon and look forward to being part of this group and making connections.
