PappyJ,

The floor is a type of OSB meant to be used for flooring. If the contractor hadn't done it I would have used regular plywood for looks. As it is it is probably flatter and sturdier.

Are ya gonna put a slidin' door on it like Nahm's? That's going to be a great shop, I'm sure you are anxious to get in. Honey, you unpack the house...I've got to unpack the shop....

SteveD,
I'm putting in 2 3-0 half-lite doors. I thought they would be the best option for insulation and light. By the way my wife has warned me that I have to help with the house before unpacking the shop.

jeff...,
It's 16x20. I wanted it to be 20x20 but we couldn't fit it on our lot without it being on top of our house or violating mandatory step-backs  .

We are about a week from moving in to the new house. Our builder let me into the shop to paint it prior to moving in all the tools and machinery. The painter told me I'd saved $750.00 by doing it myself. Anyway, here are some pictures.

Saved 750 dollars!!!! That should be a new tool or two, HUH??

The shop's looking really nice. I know you're looking forward to moving into the new shop.

I don't think you should ask LOYL to move the house while you move the shop. That's too much work for her to do alone. Could she get her mom to help with the house?

Best of luck on the move.

Great progress on the shop, Willie! :eusa_clap :eusa_clap (Your house doesn't look too shabby either!)

You should feel very fortunate to have such a great place! Saving $750.00 is a good chunk of change for some shop goodies!

Have fun moving in!
