Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I'm a new member and just getting back into wood working. I had a nice size basement shop in New York and gave most of the my equipment to my brother since I wouldn't have anywhere to work down here (Clayton). BUT, i've decided that the garage will have to do and I'm working on getting tools again. Picked up a 13" Delta Planer, 6" Delta Jointer, 1200 CFM Delta dust collector on craigslist and still have most of my small stuff like routers and sanders etc. but still working on a table saw and eventually a 14" band saw.
Sucks not having a truck or any 220v outlets!
Once I get all that ironed out, I'll need to figure out how to keep my west facing garage from cooking me!
Anyway, this looks like a great community - hope I can contribute.
