new member of the family

I know some like to hear the baby announcements....so here's one more.
Tonight we added another little girl to our family.This make 2 girls for us.Might still try for 3.
Haven't named her yet.And mom is doing well considering what she just went through.

I guess you can't believe everything the doctor tells you.
Yes Tom, we were told we wouldn't make it to the hospital.This baby would be born in the car.I've been a wreck for the past month waiting for that baby to drop.
And by the way Tom,congrats to you and your's as well.
We went to the hospital because we suspected that her water broke 2 days prior.Very slow leak though.
Went in and sure enough it did.
And then it went on it's own from there.
She was planning on the drugged approach,due to some complications she did it naturally.I'm proud.
Early on the babies heart rate dropped to about 20.They were wheeling her in to the OR,and pushing me in the other direction,when the heart rate went back on it's own...but very high.Not wanting surgery if not needed,from then on they proceeded slow and cautiuosly.Unsure of the cause they didn't want to many drugs interfeering with the readings.
It was a tense and painful 6 hours but it all turned out okay.
I learned some new colorful expressions from my wife I never knew.
And mom and baby are just fine.
