Good evening fellow woodworkers!
I am posting my first message to introduce myself to the group. I have been a hobbyist woodworker since I was a child and followed my paternal grandfather around on construction sites as his assistant. He was a small homebuilder for many years until his death in the 1960's. Since then, I have intermittently done a few projects around the house and have accumulated a few tools along the way and have finally decided at the age of 76 to get more serious and try to learn as much as I can. I still work full time and plan to do so for a few more years if my health holds out. My projects are occasionally done at night when I get home or on weekends that I do not have to work.
I look forward to learning from the group and hope I can be of some help to others as well.
Hopefully, I posted my introduction in the right place.
All the best,
Raymond Gaskins
