Hello woodworkers,

My name is Dan. I have done some woodworking projects, but do not consider myself a woodworker. Projects include: picture frames, coffee table, 4’x 6’ white oak slab flattening to make outdoor table, slab cutoffs (pieces with voids) + clear epoxy end table with my son, basic garage storage shelves, indoor fort/club house and bunk beds for my kids, a 14’ x 16’ screen porch on my house (more carpentry I suppose), 7’ slab floating shelves, and other household cabinet upgrades, etc. My grandfather was a carpenter for 65 years and I inherited his tools. This forum was recommended to me by a local (Raleigh, NC area) woodworking store when I inquired about posting some of the equipment I have but don’t use. At heart I am more into metal work, welding, and old vehicles. For example I have a 61 Willys Wagon I am working on getting road worthy. I respect and totally understand this forums rules for only allowing active participants to post things for sale. I’m here because I would like my grandfathers tools to be in the hands of an individual who will appreciate them and will use them.

You are more of a woodworker than I was at your age.
Make a few more posts (with pictures, we like pictures) and in a short while you will be qualified to sell your tools here. Meanwhile anyone interested may send you a private inquiry.

I think I've had imposter syndrome in every hobby I've ever had. Whether exercise related, cooking, or here in woodworking. Welcome to the group, and add me to the list of WINOs!

Welcome Dan! Your stuff looks amazing to me and there are plenty of folks on here who are casual woodworkers :). I'm just starting to build my shop, so once you're ready to find homes for your unused equipment, please send me a message. I'm also in the Triangle. - Katharine
