New hats for Turners

I don't do much turning myself; actually only spindles and only if I can't buy what I need!
But this came in with my daily American Woodworker email:

Jerry Measimer, President of the Southern Piedmont Woodturners in Concord, is an excellent hat maker, as are several other members of the club. WE meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Old Courthouse on Union St. in Concord. Visitors are always welcome!

At one of the recent Klingspor Extravaganzas there was a gentleman that turned several hats while he was there. I watched in amazement as he demonstrated the skill of hat turning:swoon:.
