I joined about a week ago and have been looking around. I really like what I have seen, there seem to be some good folks here.
I have been in the Overhills area for 10 years. Just when I think I can call myself a woodworker I come across a project that lets me know just how ignorant I am. I have been making dust from boards for about 15 years on my own, reading magazines and project books trying to learn. I am always learning new techniques, always looking for an easier way to do something. I have found that most of my time is taken up by figuring out how to make a profile on molding or making a joint.
My first table saw was a 7.5" skil saw mounted on a piece of ply wood on top of a 5 gal bucket and I would clamp a piece of angle iron to the ply wood for a rip fence.
I have noticed that you want pictures so I put some in the photo album I have not figured out how to put them in the post...:icon_thum
