Put this together last week using scrap. Will hold 64 clamps and I can add another leaf to it for another 32 when I need to. Pretty simple to make, just took time to cut the slots.

Looks good. I made one like that, but the weight of the clamps on the outer racks caused it to rack. So I took it apart and mounted each separately.

Like the rack, love the clamps. Do you lock your shop?:rotflm:Just kidding, where do you live?:gar-La;Seriously, a clamp rack is on my to-do list. Think I'll make a rolling one though. I've seen a couple of neat ones in other posts. I don't have much open wall space and I'm lazy, roll the clamps to where I'm working.

Very nice Geoff, I need something like that. Cabinet clamps in the rear, cheap & light HF on the moveable rack. What kind of material, and how did you cut the slots?

Bas,
I used some leftover plywood. To mill the slots, I clamped all 4 pieces together, Marked the slots and plowed them out on the table saw. Simple but time consuming.

Nice Geoff. I see some of your craftsmanship. Loooooking good.
Just might have to build one of those myself.

A really great way to utilize valued wall space, Geoff. Sure makes all clamps of various sizes readily accessible! Great design.:eusa_clap:eusa_clap

At least you were smart enough to clamp all 4 pieces together, and cut them in one pass. I probably would have done all 4 individually.... :)

Spiffy rack, Geoff. Tell me, did you formerly hand them on the door? I see what looks like slots cut in the wood above the door. :icon_scra

Yes, I did have them hanging over the door. It's a double door and that was the inactive panel.
