New Arrival

IT IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eusa_clap :eusa_clap My new Vega table saw fence came in today. Went to the shop after supper and installed it on the 1977 Sears Craftsman. Had to drill 3 holes(2 in the front tube and tap them) and one hole in the back table edge to mount the rails. Other than that it was a piece of cake.:eusa_danc Really good instructions and plenty of adjustments to get everything lined up.

Now the fun part---------modifying my tables :roll: :roll: for rail clearance and tube support. That will have to wait 'til tomorrow. When that is done I will be able to try it out with some wood!!! Maybe even have some pics to make it a legal gloat:icon_thum

The Vega may not be the Mercedes of fences but it sure beats the bicycle fence I had:lol: :lol: .

I had that same fence on my old Craftsman contractors saw and it was head and sholders above the one that came on it. When I sold the saw, the guy who bought it only actually paid for the fence, the saw was thrown in. I could have held out for more but had to make room for the PM66 so he got a steal.
