Shaper is three phase, and I also think jointer is also. Some of these machines came from Museum of Natural History. They built a new facility and bought new equiptment, WITH OUR TAX DOLLARS! There is also a Delta 12" RAS, three phase, with parts missing. Lathes are a project case, at best. In a couple of weeks a PM 66 will be sold. It is missing motor, but has Bies fence rails, just no fence. Often items appear with critical/ expensive parts missing. Care to guess who bids on them? My bet is person with missing/ expensive parts in THEIR POSSESION, or their next door neighbor. You never understand how bidding goes. Last summer, I bought a Delta 12" RAS for $151.00. New it is about $2200. A month ago, I bought a 400# per day ice maker for $176.50. It WORKS. New cost is about $4K. Came from one of the snack stands in state goverment building that had been remodeled and up graded. My neighbor teaches HVAC and refrigeration at Wake Tech. Said he would fix one if I bought it, as live project for students. I would only need to buy parts. But this one worked, so no live project. Maybe the next one won't.
