I have corresponded with Charles and he has requested that I delete his original post. I can do that, but then the thread doesn't make much sense. I modified his response to me (took out some of the vehemence against the government) and he said that I could post it. It detailed what he wants/needs a little more clearly than the first one. So, now he wants me to delete his first post, add this second post and we have a thread that is way confusing. Suggestions please.

He wants to do a new introduction rather than the "what I need" post.

I would add his second post, change the thread title to reflect that carifications have been added. Then he can create another introduction thread of his own, maybe explaining why he is tell more about himself.

What you think????

That would work except it would be out of order - the comments would be before the post. I could edit the first post instead of deleting it????

Edit the first post as you see fit. Add his clarifiactions at the end of the thread. Have him create a new thread with his introduction the way he wants it to be. Or you could edit in the clarification post into his original thread-begining post.

He wanted it deleted. I didn't want to lose the discussions that followed it. I went ahead and made the edit and noted that it was at his requesy.
