Is this a trick question? Do you really know the answer?

I am guessing goop maybe, or another type of epoxy.

I would use automotive weatherstrip cement. It's flexible and sticks to both rough and smooth surfaces extremely well. Permatex is the one that I have, but others make it too.

I was thinking something automotive, 'cause epoxy didn't last very long! OK Bas, I'll bite. What is 'barge' glue?

Phil, I thought RTV was just a sealant...

Matthew, I tried epoxy...

Joe, we attach pull handles to glass doors using silicon. Double stick tape to hold them in place till silicon cures.

Joe, I'd use the 3M weatherstripping cement, apply to both surfaces, alow to tack up, then put together under mild pressure

PL Premium Urethane Construction Adhesive - It will glue anything - forever. Get it at Home Depot at $8 a tube. Don't get anything else, like PL 400, etc. It has to be PL Premium.
