My personal salad bowl

I’ve been looking for a nice salad bowl, I eat salad every day.
Couldn’t find anything I liked so I made one.
This should do me quite nicely.

Wow nice bowl. What kind off wood and finish?

Maple from the Tree Trunk Sawmill.
Finished with flax seed oil like you get from the health food store.
It is so safe you can drink the stuff and it dries to a soft sheen.
I have spoons and cutting boards 20 years old that were finished in flax seed oil.
They still look pretty good and I never re-oiled them.

I am getting better with my cuts, only sanded this with 400 grit.
