My Newest Playtoy

After looking at and researching it for months, I finally decided to order a new bandsaw. It arrived Thursday and I got it set up and running today. I can see lots of veneers and book matching in my future.

Nice score. I really don't like the Grizzly 30th anniversary color scheme/graphics, but it is nice to get a discount and I am pretty sure that the graphics on the machine only have a small impact on the performance of the machine. What blade to you plan to run on it?

the woodslicer from highland is a good start and I also like the colors also and wish my jointer came with the big bear graphic

I like the colors also. Very impressive looking saw. I could use > 6" re-saw right now for a project I'm starting.

It cuts pretty good but it definitely needs a better blade.

The bear head cut outs are in the cast iron wheels. Mine has the aluminum wheels so no bear head.

BTW - why that is so funny (in my head) is because my wife is 5'3" and 100 pounds and I am 5'9" and let's just say more than double that!!!
