mortise sharpener

Some time back there was a thread about a sharpening jig for mortise chisels. I don't remember who posted it or what, but I would like to know where to purchase such.

I posted a while back about my father's day gifts that included a mortise chisel sharpener. It came from Rockler, around $20. It was well reviewed on Tom Hintz site newwoodworker. I haven't had the need to try it out yet, as I haven't made any mortises since I got it. But I promise a review just as soon as I do.

I've used this set from Lee Valley in my drill press.

I drilled a hole in a 2 by scrap to hold the round end of the chisel.

The Lee valley set is two different angles that allows you to put a micro bevel on the cutting edge of the chisel thereby making it stronger.

Additionally, it sells for $7.50 for both diamond wheels, but does not come witha handle for hand use.
