Missing being here

Hey guys, I dreamed last night I became discount unqualified because I hadn't been here in a while. So, I made my best effort to log on this morning.
Cancer sucks and the treatment sucks even more but as of Wednesday I'm half way to the finish line. I've lost my voice totally and my hair is not far behind but still manage to hold on to my smart !@#$ sense of humor!
No shop time yet but planning on it real soon.

hang in cancer is a tough battle. fight the fight and don't give up.

surely we could modify the DQ rules for members fighting illness. that or request one of your friends on here login as you and poke around during your bouts with the chemo

Barbara, it is great to "read" from you, you may not have your voice, but you still can type :icon_thum And I have heard that short hair is really making a come back:-D. It don't matter anyways, it ain't the hair that makes you beautiful. Keep your spirits up and keep us posted on your progress, you will beat this, and don't worry about your DQ status we'll make sure it stays updated

Welcome back Barbara. Last year I lost a very close friend to inoperable lung cancer. She was only 75 years young. When she found out, she voluntered for several research programs. She said it wasn't for her, but those who came behind her, First, her weight dropped from about 160 down to 110-114 range. Next came one of three hair losses. I told her that she wasn't getting older, as she had the legs of a teenager, and the hair of a newborn. She fought up till the end. Maybe you are the benificiary on one of the test programs she was in. Each day, as you thank God for another day, also thank Him for the people who were lab mice before you. Without their great sacrifice, we wouldn't have the treatements we have today. May God bless you and place His healing hand upon you. Bruce Wrenn
