Mid West Tool Collectors Association Meeting in Waxhaw

Hi all,

Just wanted to let everyone know that M-WTCA will be holding a meeting in Waxhaw NC (Charlotte) on Saturday, April 12. It will consist of a program of interest on chair making, tool buying/selling, displays and a chance to be with and share times with others that like to use and collect antique/traditional tools.

PS.. Our big summer meeting here in Raleigh will be held on Saturday, July 26. Had over 250 people attending last year from most states east of the Mississippi!

The MWTC meeting is at :
Bonds Grove United Methodist Church, 8215 Bonds Grove Church road,
Waxhaw NC
Theme : Tools of the Chairmaker - Bring our display your favorite individual sset of tools that would have been used by a chairmaker. We will vote on best display and winner will receive $20.
Cost : Members and guests $10
Schedule : 8 am Registration at the door -Coffee, donuts, soft drinks
8 am - Set up display, buty and sell
Program : 10 am - 11 am
Auction : 11 am

Directions : Located on Bonds Grove Church road just off Providence road between Weddington and Waxhaw , six miles south of 485 exit 57.

I'm looking forward to the big sumer meeting. It's a little closer to me, and I have never seen so many kinds of hand tools on display and for sale in my life. Definitely a learning experience for me.
