The misses and I were cruising the Seafood Festival in Morehead city this past weekend, stuffing ourselves with all kinds of nice, healthy, deep fried goodies and checking out the displays. We were just glad to be outside, after being cooped up in a small mobile home during the previous days torrential downpours :cry_smile. While walking around I noticed a wood turning display, and of course had to wander over and check out the some beautiful turnings, and what do you know, the vendor turned out to be our very own Dolan Brown (Splinter).
We spoke briefly about turning, the Goodwill Lathe and the light showers that plagued the eastern part of the state. These were some beautiful pieces that he had on display:icon_thum . It was a pleasure talking with you Dolan, and I hope the trip there turned out to be a successful one.
