Manicurist table

The last couple of weeks I have been working on a manicurist table for LOML's new nail salon. Red oak and melamine, mortise and tenon jointery.

That looks nice and the choice of melamine for the top was probably a good one given the chemicals it will be exposed to. Nice job integrating the power outlet as well.

yea I was wondering the same thing. Nice table!

I used biscuits and yellow glue. I wasn't 100% sure about the bond at first, but it's working.

I had orginally planned a plywood substrate with a piece of Formica on the top, but I didn't want to buy a whole sheet for such a small area.

I used Minwax Early American stain with 3 coats of satin polyurethane.
