I purchased this saw last year to do some trim work around our house, and it has performed wonderfully. I finally have cleared space for a miter station in the workshop and I’d like a corded, stationary tool.
Im heavily invested in the XGT platform and it was treated me very well, but I don’t find myself moving this saw as much anymore.
Weight and portability on this model is excellent, and the cut capacity is enough for the work I’ve done with it.
Dust collection works well with a vacuum. The saw is equipped with the Makita AWS bluetooth system, and port size matches Festool CT vacs as well.
Can sell as the original kit (stand, saw, 4.0 AH XGT battery, and charger), or knock
some off if you don’t need a battery.
Looking for $1000 for the full kit with some Diablo blades. (Retails for $1400 from acme tools where I got it)
Pickup in Durham, happy to show and tell with any needs. You're welcome to come test drive the saw. I won't be too mad if I have to keep it lol - I'm just looking for an excuse to buy a Kapex and hard-mount it.
