A shop visitor suggested I share this idea with you. As usual, I don't spend much effort on 'pretty' for my jigs.

The tang on the bottom of the slider is to reach thru the router table fence. These are dime store magnets. If I did it over, I'd use good 'uns. The rule is shared with my small try square. The weight of the slider and the rule allow it to track the blade/bit up & down.

Nice simple jig. I'm sue it doesn't slide down by itself, but I heard of one guy who made a height jig with a digital caliper. Wixey Digital is working on one also.
