Hard to tell from the pictures, but looks like it could be Jatoba (Brazilian cherry). If so, it’s very dense /heavy and be ready for it to dull your blades quickly - it’s a killer. I did some flooring with it, and it finishes nicely and very bug / rot resistant.

Sounds like a good reason to sell it cheap just to never see that stuff again. Decades back I did a countertop job out of teak with a similar experience. Never again. I gave away all the drop and the few extra boards I had.
