The Midwest Tool Collectors tool meet is coming up Saturday Sept 17 at Ed Hobbs' farm just south of Raleigh. It is a great place to find all kinds of hand woodworking tools--they range from user quality to collector grade. The sellers and buyers range from sellers with hundreds of tools to tailgaters with a handful of extras to sell. Great place to fill in your chisel and plane gaps. Looking for plane parts? Looking for plane irons or moulding planes--they are here. There is a great catered barbecue and chicken lunch included with the price of admission. Short meeting, program and mostly tool trading as well as an auction.
