Bought the pattern at Wildwood Designs, made a very slight modification to the design. Seven species of wood total for this one. This is the third one I've done. First one was a father's day gift for my dad, second one was donated to a charity auction. This one's being entered in the show on Nov 1st if it doesn't sell before then.
After the pieces are cut out:

Just rearranged to get an idea of where things will go, still some drilling to be done:

Finally finished. Blue dye on the base, a little walnut stain on the walnut and clear lacquer on everything:

All in all, about 5 hours total working on it, another couple hours trying to find the box the clock supplies were in and trying to locate my set of countersink bits.
