Let’s see if it curls into a pretzel

Just under 10” diameter. Finish-turned while green, which is new for me (I usually twice-turn).

I typically remove toolmarks with a scraper, but found that caused a lot of grain tear out so had to skip the scrapers and sand aggressively instead. Thankfully I had some mesh abrasives.

The wood is just some ‘found’ maple. Unfortunately the grain is very plain but there was some cool moss growing on the bark.

Great looking piece and it will be interesting to see how it reshapes itself. I have a couple recently turned green and they’ve certainly moved so look forward to seeing what this does.
