Certainly not up to the normal standards viewed on this forum, but I'm learning. Hopefully as I learn, my skills will improve. However, either way, it's fun.

Sorry, I had that information in the original post. However it got lost during my several attempts to correctly post the pic.

It's a Rhodium Retro Jr Gent II on African Blackwood.

There is nothing wrong with your pen.
The wood selected fits the components beautifly.
I note that most who purchase expensive kits with multi colored platings disregard colors and figure of wood when deciding what kit to put on the blank.
Black and silver is a great combination and the pen is beautiful!

Thanks for the compliments guys. This pen is off in the mail for a pen swap. I hope the recipient enjoys it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Good looking pen and the Af.Blackwood is really nice, I love it and use Blackwood a lot and I always seem to get a lot of brown banding, but the piece you used looks truly black. Outstanding!
