I roughed out my first large, 9.5" diameter and 4" tall, cherry bowl. I really enjoyed the project and now can't wait for it to dry. I've filled and covered it in it's own shavings and wrapped it in brown paper bag material.

It is now on the top shelf in my garage where the temp averages between 75-90F and is fairly humid, between 60-80%. Will this be a good spot for it, or should I bring it in the house. Also, how long should I let it dry?

Any comments on the design or ways to improve it would be greatly appreciated.

Looks good:icon_thum.I think if it where me I would put it in a cool dark spot. The slower it dries the better.I would also check on it and rotate the shavings so they dob't mold.I could be wrong about this :dontknow:.I know there is way more experince than me on here:rolf:.

BRING IT IN!

I ruined a bunch of wood leaving it in the heat and humidity!! I don't know why but inside it doesn't split and such!

Looks pretty nice too!
