Anyone know if one of those rides nicely on its side/back in a trailer? What things would I need to account for during transport?

BTW, I thought those had 12" resaw capacity - but he says 9"? Was it less on older models?

it should ride fine on your trailer if it's not a very high trailer and has some spring in the suspension.

the resay cap. has been increased over the years by changing the blade guard assembly. i can't say exactly when it was done.

but i will say that is an awesome price!

This would be great for cutting guitar tops and backs down the road. Guess I will just wait for down the road to get here. That is a good deal.

Very nice looking saw! Have been looking for a bandsaw dedicated to resawing. Have a PM 14" now, wish the resaw was a little bigger on this Laguna. Would like around 12" resaw. But this is definitely a great buy! It would probably handle 99% of what I would be doing. I bet it won't last long! I know if I had the cash lying around, I'd definitely be calling! Hopefully someone here will get it!

Well ya see, that kind of depends. Can you convince her that by you spending that money on you that she can spend as much (or if you really want to convince her twice as much) on herself?

Or if she would enjoy the time alone while you were in the shop you could tell her that the new bandsaw will occupy several hours of your time every day ;-)
