While going through the oiling process with the two wood bowl I'm working on the Minister of Finance wanted a bottle stopper. Being to cheap to buy one, I went out to a local winery and picked up a couple corks, drilled them, found some Honey Locust ( I think) nubs and made her a stopper. The epoxy is still curing so we'll see if it lasts. Sanded to 400, sanding sealed, sand with 400 again, BLO and wet sanded and I think I will wax it with the Beall buff when the oil cures. A fun little project.
Comments, criticisms and ways to improve appreciated.

Nice design - but trying to get a cork that was used in a wine bottle back in the bottle is not very easy. They are put in with a press at the winery. The corks used in bottle stopper kits are tapered on the end. You might want to test this one before you present it to the customer.
