600lbs of clamping pressure is pretty nice but I'm just not a fan of this type of clamp. Seems like the final tightening rotates the piece a tiny bit and I could never figure out how to prevent it.
A small piece of Thermo plastic or 67lb Vellum Bristol paper between the clamp and the wood allows that slipage to move with very little rotational force affecting the wood being clamped up.
